ABOUT MAX

Max Belkin currently studies Music Production & Engineering at Berklee College of Music in Boston. While attending school Max works freelance as an audio engineer around Boston. Although he is primarily focused on working as a Mixing Engineer, he also has credits Tracking and Mastering for various projects. He works across all genres of music but primarily Max enjoys working within rock and its sub-genres.

Holding credits on a handful of singles, EPs, and album productions across a variety of genres already in his professional career, Max’s musical output has been widely praised by his Berklee MP&E professors and peers.

When he’s not focused on audio engineering Max is also a certified guitar Luthier with a degree from Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery in Phoenix, Arizona. Where he honed his skills doing routine maintenance, repair, and building custom stringed instruments.

Before college, Max lived in a small town in New Hampshire where his love for music began playing the electric bass and grew through various outlets such as marching band, listening to classic rock radio with his dad, and listening to the stories of his late-grandfather running his own Jazz orchestra and playing upright bass which Max now plays himself.
